July~ Currently

I am linking up with Farley's "July Currently" linky! I thought this would be a good start because it just looked so fun! I'm new to the blogging world, and I'm very excited about it. I hope you'll welcome me with open arms.

I'm designing some jewelry for a giveaway when I have my "Grand Opening," so follow me if you're into cute free stuff!

This blog will be (mostly) featuring tips and ideas for incorporating Higher Order Thinking in the elementary classroom.

My July Currently:
Listening: This fun song came up on my Spotify radio and I just love it! I crooned along to this jam on my morning drive to school this spring.

Loving: Fresh Avocado, um is there a limit to how many avocados a person should eat, because I'm pretty sure I'm reaching that limit...

Thinking: "Wahoo! This is my FIRST linky!" I'm so excited to unleash my blog! I'm thankful to link up for this fun idea!

Wanting: I'm going to see Daniel Tosh tomorrow evening with my sweetie and a group of friends. I'm pumped, but alas, what to wear?

Needing: Sleep, per usual. I get the creative jitters in the evening...well, and the morning... and also the afternoon...

Tips, Tricks, or Hints: I had a chat and review session earlier today about my blog/TPT store and I am lucky enough to have received a lot of great advice. It was suggested that I stop comparing myself to everyone else who are experienced bloggers and just get started! So, here I am, getting started!

  1. Hi Bridget!!!

Thank you so much for stopping by my Blog! For your first linky, you did a GREAT job! I just love your Blog decor! It is so unique and so cute! I think your friend was right about getting started! One of the big mistakes people make is to compare themselves or their work! A lot of time can be wasting doing that, which can take away from the creative process! Have FUN with your Blog and everything else will fall into place!

  5. Your advice was spot-on! Like Nike~ Just do it! :) When you join linky parties you might be sure to have it link to the specific post instead of just back to your blog.

I love avocados too. I like a little lemon juice and olive oil on them. YUMMY. =)

That is great advice that I need to remember at times also.
